So I received the game in the mail today and I've been having a couple of problems.

I've got Kev's 2010 mod installed if that helps at all.

In the menu's the game will act like I hit the down arrow for no reason and when I try and add the Reds in via the team creator - When I try and set the logo as soon as it goes from the logo just before the Reds logo to the Reds logo the game crashes, I've got the right dimensions, file type and ive got the file name as TL0078.png but it's still crashing.

I'm working with Logitech Profiler to map the buttons to my controller, It's a pain but I'm getting there.

nvidia geforce fx 5500 (yes i know this is still an old card, but the game used to go alright on an even crappier card 4)
windows xp service pack 3
2 gig processor
1.5 gig of ram

I’m just finishing off my 2010 UK update which includes the Superleague, Co-op Champ, Co-op Champ 1, Northern Rail Cup, Challenge Cup, European Cup and Elite 1, Lord Derby Cup (France) championships.

The franchise mode can’t handle true promotion and relegation but I can set it up to promote/relegate certain teams regardless of how they actually finish in your franchise mode when you play.

For example I have set it up to relegate Whitehaven and Keighley to co-op 1 for 2011 and promote Hunslet and Oldham.

For 2012 I want to create a 16 team Superleague and at the moment have Widnes and Toulousse penciled in for the new franchises.

To compensate for the 2 teams going up I have not relegated anyone from co-op in 2012 and promoted South Wales and Keighley from co-op 1. Filling their spots in co-op 1 I have Lezignan and Carcassonne joining from France (it’s not out of the question).

Basically just after opinions on those choices. I have my doubts about Toulousse going to superleague in 2012 due to their results (despite a want by those in charge to continue to promote the French cause) should I promote Leigh or someone else instead.

Initial tests are looking promising with no crashing so far. I have had to shift the Elite 1 season to run in line with the UK season, while the Northern Rail Cup and Challenge Cup can only have 16 teams. i dont play franchise so it makes little sense to me but for those who do...

when selecting your team preferences at the start of the franchise: select your club team (ie Sharks) & your country team (ie Australia) but then leave the rest alone (no blues/maroons or City/Country) apparently it wont crash at the end of the season now, he is into season 3 after following this method so it hopefully will work for everyone
